Jackie BROWN, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on November 29, 2021, in Killeen, Texas. Working off tip information, DPS Special Agents located and arrested BROWN near a convenience store. In 2001, BROWN was convicted of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact following an incident involving a 5-year-old girl. He was subsequently sentenced to three years' confinement. In 2010, BROWN was convicted of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender’s Duty to Register and sentenced to another three years' confinement. BROWN had been wanted since June 2020, after the Bell County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for BROWN's arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements and Assault Causing Bodily Injury. BROWN’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
