Lost pets brought to the Denver Animal Shelter without identification are held for five calendar days. Animals with identification are also held for five calendar days while their owners are contacted. Our online database is updated daily. After the five day hold, animals will be evaluated for appropriate outcome.

If you're looking to adopt a new pet, visit our View Adoptable Pets Online page. Animals listed below may already be available for adoption if they have been at Denver Animal Shelter beyond the five day hold period.
