Not your traditional painted tee!
This simple tee uses tape to create a void pattern when painted around with fabric spray paint.

Step 1First wash and dry your tee. Spread the old sheet on your work surface, this might get messy!

Step 2Put the cardboard inside the tee to prevent the paint from seeping through. Tape out your pattern- geometric shapes work best. Press the tape edges down firmly.

Step 3If you don't want to run the risk of getting paint on your hands, snap on some rubber gloves now. Follow the instructions on your fabric spray paint and start spraying your tee.

Step 4Focus the paint around the taped pattern so that the lines will be well defined. The paint I used had the interesting feature that a full pump would make a mist and half a pump would make a splatter.

Step 5Spray your tee until your happy with it. Let the paint dry according to the instructions. Remove the tape and wear!
