Welcome to the Center for Plant-Based Living, the nation’s first plant-based nutrition and culinary education center located in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded by Caryn Dugan, a cancer survivor who once loved Velveeta and fried bologna. She was also once frustrated and overwhelmed with healthy eating. Her experience might mirror your own.

We understand it, and that’s why we opened our doors. Caryn’s company, St. Louis Veg Girl has presented alongside medical experts, authors and instructors in the field of nutrition science and health for over ten years, yet there was no single source for easy learning. The Center for Plant-Based Living is a continuation of Caryn’s dedication. We are your in-person and virtual resource to make easy, quick and healthy meals that can reverse disease, help you lose weight or improve your overall health. Join us today!

Stream a cooking class from our extensive library whenever you’d like! Also enjoy unlimited access to our library of recipes. Membership includes access to ongoing virtual cooking classes, a monthly support group call (including a quarterly group call with our Medical Director, Dr. Jim Loomis) and access to our private Facebook group.

Whether it’s a private group cooking class or a chef-prepared dinner party, your group of friends and family will have a great time. Our A/V system is also ideal for business meetings/dinners.
