New York, NY (October 11, 2022) – CohnReznick today announced that, for the second consecutive year, it has been named to Newsweek’s 2022 list of Most Loved Workplaces®. CohnReznick is the only accounting firm on the list.

The 2022 Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® are the result of a collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company.

The results were determined after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the center of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve been recognized with this prestigious honor,” said David Kessler, CEO, CohnReznick LLP. “In a people business, a culture of collaboration is so important. It’s gratifying to see our people contribute to our great culture in all they do to make a difference for our clients, create opportunities for our people, and strengthen our communities.”

BPI measured five critical areas of employee sentiment when determining this year’s list: how positive workers feel about their future at the company, career achievement, how much employer values align with employee values, respect at all levels, and the level of collaboration at the firm. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, and company response and adaptability to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as return-to-office rules, were identified and analyzed in relation to the five critical areas measured.

CohnReznick hosts a variety of people-first activities to enhance its employees’ experience at the firm. From community service events across the country, to firm-wide celebrations like Employee Appreciation Day and Promotion Day, CohnReznick has a unique culture that attracts great talent and recognizes great work. Other initiatives that support team members’ well-being and balance include “CR Together with Purpose,” which empowers employees to determine the location and time that best suits the work to be done and “Focused Fridays,” a meeting-free day between Memorial Day and Labor Day to enable team members to do focused work or more easily use paid time off. Its exceptional workplace culture, rooted in the firm’s mission, brand, PYRAMID values and Sense of Purpose, serves as the foundation for life at CohnReznick.

What’s more, the firm connects teams through firm-wide events, such as community volunteerism days called CR Cares, quarterly business updates hosted by the CEO, take a break with the CEO and COO, and a variety of social events hosted by employee resource groups, which also use the opportunity to recruit new members and allies.

“As a result of ‘The Great Resignation,’ more companies recognize the importance of focusing on employee satisfaction not only to attract but retain top talent,” said Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief, Newsweek. “The businesses on this year’s list clearly demonstrated that commitment.”
