Background: The Restore, Repair, Renew (RRR) program is an initiative of the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (PRA) to help Philadelphia homeowners access low-interest loans to invest in their properties. Lenders participating in the program are offering 10-year, 3% interest loans that range from $2,500 to $24,999 (inclusive of 10% contingency) to eligible homeowners.
Toolkit Purpose: Considering the economic pressures people are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic and the current recession, qualified Philadelphia homeowners can make the necessary repairs and renovations to ensure their property is safe and functional, as lower-income residents rely on their homes more than ever. We recognize that CDCs, CBOs, civic associations, and other organizations that have partnered with us and have supported our work are in the best position to raise awareness about our program and its benefits. We also understand that time and capacity can be limited, so this toolkit is meant to make posting as simple as possible.
There are three components to the toolkit:
- Posting Information: This includes suggestions for hashtags, accounts to tag, links where constituents can learn more about RRR and other helpful websites.
- Sample Posts: Text that can be copy and pasted onto your social media pages to accompany the graphics.
- Graphics: Visuals that capture information in a succinct way and can also grab the attention of social media users more effectively than text-only posts. They are properly sized for the respective platforms and can accompany the sample posts.
