Cincinnati named best place to live in Ohio fourth year in a row. Here's why

Cincinnati was ranked the No. 1 place to live in Ohio and No. 41 in the country.

The Queen City has done it again. For the fourth year in a row, Cincinnati has ranked the best place to live in Ohio by U.S. News & World Report. 

The media company uses several factors to determine its rankings, including quality of life and job market.

U.S. News & World Report noted Cincinnati's museums and events in its ranking.

Cincinnati also ranked No. 41 in best places to live in the country, a few spots up the ladder since last year's ranking. U.S. News & World Report analyzed the 150 most populated metro areas in the country for its list.

In its report, U.S. News noted the Queen City's many museums, professional sports teams, highly ranked private and public schools, citywide events and large selection of restaurants.

The company ranks cities based on their job market, factoring in an area's unemployment rate and average salary; value index, including the cost of housing; quality of life, considering points like school rankings and crime; net migration and desirability. The final factor was based on a nationwide poll, in which 3,500 people were asked where they would like to live.
