Accomplishments within the Federal sector are only as good as the technology available to bring about innovation. However, such innovation—particularly with AI—has been limited in the past by specialized infrastructure, locking out many companies from engaging in all that technology can offer. NVIDIA, a company whose inventions and offerings have defined the landscape of computing and AI, aims to provide customers with the means of virtualizing their AI workloads while utilizing technology they already possess. Today, NVIDIA announced NVIDIA AI Enterprise, a new software suite that performs with existing VMware vSphere platforms on NVIDIA-Certified Systems™.

NVIDIA AI Enterprise enables public sector and government agencies to simplify their workload in the most cost-effective way, as existing tools and infrastructure work with the platform. Traditional servers and data centers instead get a boost in AI performance that raises them to the same standard as bare-metal servers. NVIDIA AI Enterprise gives any industry, from public health to cybersecurity to citizen safety and public infrastructure, the ability to develop and deploy their AI workloads in an accessible manner. All can utilize the NVIDIA AI Enterprise framework to scale, enabling the development and shaping of future programs without the prerequisite of the latest and greatest forms of infrastructure.

NVIDIA AI Enterprise, along with other NVIDIA offerings, is available through their channel partner Carahsoft. With a three-year history of collaboration, Carahsoft has become a pivotal partner in the NVIDIA Partner Network (NPN), due to their role in supporting and encouraging NVIDIA’s success in the Federal ecosystem. Named NVIDIA’s 2020 Distribution Partner of the Year, Carahsoft has proven to generate demand for new AI and machine learning solutions through both sales and marketing efforts on behalf of NVIDIA. Their collaboration in support of the public sector extends to several contract vehicles, including GSA, NASA SEWP V, ITES-SW2, and several State, Local and Educational options.
