celebrate heritage Heritage Ambassadors

Color in love and hope for Haiti. Join us for a storytelling, poetry and coloring book experience by Régine Romain – BPL Heritage Ambassador 2022. Open to all ages. Hybrid Program:  Join in person at Flatbush Library or Virtually via Zoom

Kolore lanmou ak lespwa pou Ayiti. Vin met ansanm avèk nou nan yon eksperyans ibrid (vityèl + an pèsòn) pou tire kont, pwezi ak liv pou kolore dapre Régine Romain, – yon atis Ayisyèn-Amerikèn, edikatris, antwopològ vizyèl epi Anbasadris Patrimwàn BPL pou 2022. Ouvè pou tout laj.

Régine (Jiji) Romain brings tremendous joy to her life/work as a Haitian-American artist, educator, visual anthropologist, and racial justice + equity coach. As a storyteller and cultural producer, she uses photographs/film/performance as mixed-media tools to ignite critical consciousness and radical transformation.

Regine Romain will be appearing virtually.  To participate virtually, please register here.  A limited amount of artist-created kits will be available the day of the program while supplies last at Flatbush Library.
