The restaurant will open in the former Nobu space in Tribeca.

Beefbar, a European restaurant chain with locations in nearly 20 cities around the world, will bring its fare to the United States for the first time when it opens at 105 Hudson St. in New York City's Tribeca neighborhood.

Beefbar will occupy 6,400 square feet in the space that formerly housed the trendy Nobu restaurant.

The chain was founded in 2015 by Riccardo Giraudi, who opened the first location in Monaco, Monte Carlo.

There are now locations around the world including the cities of London, Paris, Athens, Saint-Tropez, Rome, Milano, Mexico City, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo, and Riyadh.

New York real estate brokerage Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Fine Arts Housing Inc., in the leasing deal.

Nobu, the restaurant partially owned by actor Robert De Niro that occupied the space for nearly 20 years, moved to a larger location in the city's Financial District five years ago.

“Together with ownership, we developed and executed a strategy to make 105 Hudson Street stand out amongst a glut of vacancy in the retail corridor. The team identified opportunities to upgrade the asset and ‘white box’ the space before reintroducing it back to the market, which helped us receive the results we set out to achieve," said Peter Braus, managing principal and co-founder of Lee & Associates NYC, in a statement.

Richard Skulnik and Sam Martorella of RIPCO Real Estate LLC, represented TriBeCa Hospitality Group LLC, New York, the sponsor of Beefbar Restaurant, Lee & Associates said.
