2021 Annual Meeting - Back to Business

September 22, 2021 - September 24, 2021

Join us at The Sagamore Resort on Lake George for The Business Council's premier event of the year. Our Annual Meeting is full of information, inspiration, and networking, creating a one-of-a-kind forum focusing on improving New York's business climate and economy.

ABOUT THE ANNUAL MEETING

We are excited to announce our Annual Meeting will be back in person this September at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, part of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. This year's focus is "Back to Business," as our programming is aimed at helping employers return to a sense of normalcy. We are planning an agenda that will help guide and assist businesses in the post-pandemic world which features new and updated federal and state workplace and employee rights. Our agenda will also shine the spotlight on politics in 2022, as the state legislature, already ruled by one party, could see an even more dramatic shift in its makeup after the mid-term election cycle. Our Annual Meeting provides an excellent networking opportunity for our members who will spend three days with some of the state's largest and most successful businesses.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Jim Boeheim

Jim Boeheim

Central New York native Jim Boeheim is in his 46th season as men’s basketball coach at his alma mater, Syracuse University. A member of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Boeheim trails only Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski in all-time wins and games coached at the Division I level. Boeheim has guided Syracuse to 35 NCAA Tournament berths. The Orange won the NCAA Championship in 2003 and have advanced to five Final Fours and 20 Sweet 16’s during his tenure. Off the court, he and his wife, Juli, head up the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation, which supports children in need and those touched by cancer.
