Arlington Community Foundation has a well-established Annual Scholarship Program that in 2023 awarded over $700,000 in scholarships to 102 new students, with a total of 222 recipients including renewal scholarships. In the past decade, Arlington Community Foundation has awarded more than $6 million to Arlington students attending college. Generous individuals, families, companies and organizations fund the scholarships, which have their own unique eligibility criteria. If you are an individual or with a company that might be interested in starting a scholarship fund, please send us an email at any time.

A Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA is encouraged but NOT required to apply for scholarships. If you are not eligible to submit the FAFSA, you may also submit the VASA Application Report (VAR) from the VASA. Students also have the option to submit other financial documentation if they are unable to complete the FAFSA or VASA. See the FAQs below for more information.

Available Scholarships

We offer approximately 100 new college scholarships each year, with many differing criteria for eligibility, but only one application is required to be considered for all the available scholarships. For those students who choose to attend Marymount University, Marymount will match our scholarship award up to $3,000. At the end of each scholarship description, you will notice:

FN = Financial Need. For all scholarships marked with FN, a Student Aid Report (SAR) from the FAFSA is encouraged but NOT required. Students also have the option to submit other financial documentation if they are unable to complete the FAFSA.

R = Renewable with good academic standing
