Ensuring Health Security in the African Region
The World Health Organization Regional Office for Africa (WHO AFRO) launched three flagship projects to improve the capacity of all Member States to prepare for, detect and respond to public health emergencies. The flagship projects build upon existing infrastructure to implement a well-organized partner support system that augments national capacity when needed, incorporating lessons learned from COVID-19, Ebola and other health emergencies.
