Scott Powder

Scott Powder, President

As President of Advocate Aurora Enterprises, Scott is responsible for advancing Advocate Aurora Health’s whole person health strategy, which includes investing in solutions that complement the health system’s core clinical offerings to help people live well at every stage of life and broaden the business portfolio.

Since joining Advocate Aurora Health in 1993, Scott has held various business development and strategy positions, most recently serving as Chief Strategy Officer.

He currently serves on the Boards of Directors for Foodsmart, a digital food and nutrition platform; Senior Helpers, a leading in-home personal care company; and other organizations within the broader Advocate Aurora portfolio. He also serves as a strategic advisor to Health Velocity Capital, a Silicon Valley and Nashville-based health venture capital fund and is a member of the Industry Advisory Board for Flare Capital, a Boston-based health venture capital fund. Scott also serves on the campaign planning committee and President’s board for UCAN, a social services agency serving youth in metropolitan Chicago.
