Non-Appointed Agents

Acadia Insurance works exclusively through a select network of more than 220 independent insurance agencies with over 600 locations in cities and towns throughout New England and New York state. Our selective distribution strategy enables us to develop stronger relationships with our partners and focus on mutual success. In addition, our flat structure ensures that senior leadership maintain close contact with our agents and enable us to respond to feedback and opportunities quickly.

We seek partners located in our footprint who manage a profitable book of business, who value local expertise and service, and who can meet minimum premium volume commitments.

In return, Acadia Insurance provides its agents with above average compensation and profit sharing potential. In the last three years, 70% of Acadia agencies have earned profit sharing with an average payout exceeding 3% of earned premiums.
