BRONCO PRODUCTIONS / VIDEO EDITING
Bronco Productions is responsible for video production for Western Michigan University's 16 intercollegiate athletic programs. This includes overall operations of video board and replay systems in Waldo Stadium, University Arena and Lawson Ice Arena (homes of Bronco football, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics and ice hockey), overseeing video content on wmubroncos.com, live streams to NCHC.tv, as well as servicing other departmental video needs. Bronco Productions also produces roughly 35 ESPN3 broadcasts which will reach a national and global audience. Students will also have the ability to edit sports highlight videos for use in-venue, online & social media. Students get professional-level, hands on experience in the areas of camera operation, video editing, audio engineering and technical production.

BUSTER BRONCO
Buster Bronco is the official mascot of WMU Athletics. Buster makes appearances at home games and select road athletic events as well as community appearances at schools, hospitals, libraries, parades, and other kinds of fun events.

EQUIPMENT SERVICES
As a student employee in the equipment room, daily duties include doing loads of laundry for student-athletes, returning clean laundry to lockers, preparing game-day uniforms and managing and checking-in newly purchased shoes, apparel and team gear. This job can offer about 20 hours per week, and is a great way to get involved with Bronco Athletics.

FACILITIES
The WMU Facility staff is responsible for the set up and tear down of all university athletic events and the security of all department buildings and facilities. This includes preparing fields, courts and other playing surface for practices, contests and recreational sports and maintaining a positive and professional relationship with staff members, students and the general public. Staff members must be able to lift heavy objects and work flexible hours in all elements of weather.

MEDIA RELATIONS/SPORTS INFORMATION
Media Relations students assist in traditional sports information capacities, which include writing press releases, recaps, feature stories, historical archiving and statistical up keeping for WMU's intercollegiate athletic teams. Students also aid in creating content for social media and help with the maintenance of WMU's athletic website: wmubroncos.com. Students will have the opportunity to assist at major athletics functions, including (but not limited to) football, men's and women's basketball, hockey and volleyball game days. Students will be exposed to the media and public relations side of the sports industry, as well as work closely with areas of marketing and video production.

SPORTS MARKETING & PROMOTIONS
Sports Marketing students aid in the execution of all on-field/on-court promotions, including, but not limited to: the production of show timelines and public address scripts, organization in-venue music and timeout coordination with band, cheer and dance and activation of sponsorships. Students also help coordinate special events and community involvement and assist in the distribution of marketing materials, such as posters. GRAPHIC DESIGN Student designers will follow the WMU Athletics Brand guide to create content for use on billboards, social media, video production, television, website and other marketing materials. Designers should be well-versed in the Adobe Creative Suite.

TICKET OFFICE
The Western Michigan University athletic ticket office looks for student workers for the summer, fall and spring semesters. These part-time positions offer a flexible schedule and involve some evening and weekend hours. The ticket office is looking for individuals who are customer-service oriented, self-starting and have the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities and duties include: customer service, basic accounting skills, handling money as a cashier, answering telephones, computer data entry, processing ticket orders, filling documents and assisting in bulk mailings.
