Planned Parenthood Stands for Care

We are here to make sure you understand how these new laws affect your ability to get a safe, legal abortion, as well as help you with information and financial resources, where available, to get abortion care in other states. Your health and well-being are our highest priority, no matter where you live.

Regardless of your state's abortion laws, we are here to help you understand your options and access the care you need.

Abortion is still legal in Hawai’i. Planned Parenthood health centers — with supportive doctors, nurses, and expert staff — continue to provide the care and resources you've come to rely on.

Idaho

If you need care, our staff is ready to help you find an appointment and provide you with the information and resources you need to access care.

Indiana

Due to SEA 1, a law that only allows abortion services in Indiana under very limited circumstances, Planned Parenthood is no longer able to provide abortion care in Indiana.

Kentucky

Abortion is banned in Kentucky as of August 1, 2022. The state's total abortion ban is now in effect.

Schedule a Pregnancy Options Consultation

If you might be pregnant and are considering an abortion, a pregnancy options consultation includes a gestational dating ultrasound to help determine exactly how far along the pregnancy is. This is a helpful option if you are unsure of the exact date of your last menstrual period.

Different abortion procedures and providers have different limits for care, so it’s important to know how far along you are when booking an appointment out-of-state to ensure you can get the care you need. In addition, our compassionate, nonjudgmental team of patient navigators will help connect you with another provider out-of-state, if that is your choice.

*Important: Watch out for "Crisis Pregnancy Centers" offering free ultrasounds. These are not certified medical providers and will mislead you about your options.
