Find Help at NC State

The NC State Counseling Center strives to help students in need of immediate or ongoing care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency, an NC State counselor is always available to help at 919-515-2423. If you are calling outside regular business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), select option 2 to speak with an on-call counselor. If you or someone else is in crisis, you do not need an appointment.

In the case of a life-threatening emergency, call 911.

Free Teletherapy

All NC State degree-seeking students can access free counseling appointments with mental health professionals through our partner teletherapy platform.
