The water crisis is best solved by those most impacted by it - women. That's why students at Webb Bridge are walking to support Water is Basic's women-led well repair teams who are repairing wells at the local level across Warrap State, South Sudan.

Women spend 200,000,000 hours every day in Africa seeking water for their families. Water is Basic catalyzes local solutions to their plight.

Thousands of wells have been drilled in South Sudan over the last 50 years. Many of these wells will break down at least once during the year. When this happens, people will start getting dirty water from the river again, girls miss school as they walk miles to get water, and water-borne illnesses skyrocket. All while they wait for someone to fix their well.

Together we can raise $20,000 to repair 20 wells for communities in Warrap State, South Sudan.

Will you support students at Webb Bridge with a donation as they walk for water so children in South Sudan no longer have to? Together, we can make a difference in the lives of thousands of people!
