War Heroes on Water changes lives. It certainly has changed mine. I thank our event supporters, our veterans, our partner, Freedom Alliance, and the yacht owners who graciously donate their sportfishing vessels, their crews, and their time. This magnificent combination of patriots is what makes our WHOW events so amazingly successful.

WHOW Is Family

The War Heroes On Water tournament exists for one profound purpose: to create human connections that matter.

Everyone involved is dedicated to demonstrating their deep gratitude to our combat-wounded veteran community and honoring their selfless sacrifices.

Through the healing powers of the ocean and the excitement of sportfishing, our Veterans forge new, lifelong bonds, enjoy a little healthy competition, and establish a path toward healing.

Now in our sixth year, the War Heroes on Water tournament has hosted more than 425 Veterans and supports thousands more through year-round therapeutic services.

With your support, we’ll continue to watch those numbers grow!

The tournament just keeps getting better every year, it’s almost like a family reunion of sorts. It’s all about the camaraderie and the competition. I have lost a big tuna twice in a row, but, honestly, I can’t wipe the smile off my face even when we lose a massive fish.
