The Virginia Beach SPCA is proud to present Animal Heroes! Created as a fun and interactive video arcade, this online platform offers a series of humane education lessons designed to teach players about responsible pet parenting, pet safety, and animal welfare.
Animal Heroes allows players to choose from three different worlds: the home, the beach, and the park. Each world has four paw prints, which will take children to different lessons and games. Once a player has collected all four paw prints, a final challenge will be unlocked. When the challenge is completed, the player will become an official VBSPCA Animal Hero and receive a downloadable certificate!
Animal Heroes is free to play and open to everyone. The project was funded through a grant from Virginia Natural Gas, a generous donation from actor and philanthropist Terry O’Quinn, and a fundraising campaign that matched O’Quinn’s contribution.
