Registration for the 2022 GARD Conference is open! 

Below are the registration options and deadlines:

  • In-person* Early Bird Registration (deadline 27 May 2022)             = $250***
  • In-person Regular Registration (28 May – 1 July)                            = $350
  • In-person Late Registration (1 July – onsite)                                    = $500
  • In-person Student Registration (<1 yr since graduation)                  = $100
  • In-person Late Student Registration (28 May – onsite)                    = $125
  • Virtual** Registration (deadline = 15 July)                                        = $50
  • Late Virtual** Registration                                                                 = $100
  • In-person Partner**** Registration                                                    = $100
  • Complementary Registration (approval required)                             = $0

*The in-person conference will follow CDC Guidelines and State of Tennessee requirements for COVID-19.

**Virtual registration will occur via a Zoom platform. Presentations by virtual participants can occur in real-time or be recorded. NOTE: All presentations will be recorded and available to virtual participants if they are unable to participate in real-time.  There also will be a social platform (e.g., GatherTown) for virtual participants to interact.

***Registration must be paid by either a credit card or U.S. bank-issued check – an invoice will be provided for the latter after checkout.  Global Ranavirus Consortium (GRC) members will receive a $20 discount on registration. To receive, you must join the GRC prior to registering, which you can do at this website: https://www.ranavirus.org/register

****Partner is a companion that is attending the 2022 GARD Conference, and is not a student or a professional. Partners can attend conference activities with an individual that has paid full registration as a student or professional. 

In order to register, you will be required to review and accept the DEI Code of Conduct for the 2022 GARD Conference. 

During registration, you will have the opportunity to sign up for workshops and field trips, so please review options, costs, and dates prior to registering.  You also will be able to pre-order 2022 GARD merchandise (shirts, tumblers, etc) during registration, which we encourage.  Only a limited number of merchandise items will be available for purchase at the conference. 

If you need assistance with family care during the conference, you will have the opportunity to indicate dates, times and number of children when registering. 

If you need financial assistance to participate in GARD 2022 virtually or in-person, you are welcome to apply for a participation/travel grant.  The deadline for application is 13 May 2022.  NOTE: Participation grant recipients should register (under the appropriate category above) and they will be reimbursed at the conference.

If you have any questions about registration of if you need to change your registration option after registering (e.g., in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person), please contact Matt Gray (mgray11@utk.edu, +1-8659742740).  NOTE: If you already registered and thereafter want to add a workshop or field trip or purchase merchandise, please fill out all required information on Page 1 of the Registration Portal, select “I’ve already registered” as the Registration option, select the field trip, workshop or merchandise you want, and go to check out.
