Firemen Mural Refresh

Donation protected
Hey everyone, thank you for taking the time to check out our fundraising efforts to revive and update this important homage to Chicago Firemen.

We first painted a tribute to all the hardworking firemen and women and first responders after the 9/11 attack. It was a historic mural to pay tribute to all the heroic work done to save lives and make sense of the terrorist attacks.

We have since updated our tribute to firemen and have done so out of pocket from all the contributing artists in the years past. The wall is old and needs a great deal of maintenance to ensure its longevity. It was all volunteer based the first two times and it is in need of an update.

With the recent deaths of two prominent firemen, we felt the need to update the mural with your help! We want to keep honoring our first responders and continue to pay tribute to all the great work they do to keep our city safe and our community engaged through art.

Your generous donation will go towards all the labor that goes into planning a mural of this magnitude from planning, equipment rental, paint, drop cloths, food, travel expenses and other miscellaneous costs. We really appreciate your consideration and love for all the work our firemen and firewomen do for our city.

This wall is located on the corner of Lincoln and Addison

Thank you!
