NCCash Match

Treasurer Folwell talks about how we are returning money through the NCCash Match Program

A Department of State Treasurer (DST) initiative will speed up the return of millions of dollars to the rightful owners through a free, streamlined process. With the NCCash Match program, unclaimed property owners do not need to take action to receive their money. The Unclaimed Property Division will research records and identify qualifying claims of $5,000 or less. Each week, notification letters will be mailed to claimants, and a check will be issued in 6-8 weeks. Below are some frequently asked questions about the Unclaimed Property Division and this special effort to get money in the hands of North Carolina residents.
