2023 (Graduate): Started all 55 games in the 2023 season … Had 156 at-bats and 43 hits earning herself a .276 batting average … She had four doubles and two homeruns along with 28 runs and 21 RBI … Scored 20 runs … Went 20-22 for stolen bases … Had a season-high three hits against Campbell (5/11/23) … Scored a season-high three runs against the University of Maine
2022 (Senior): Started all 58 games in the 2022 season. She had 183 at-bats and 50 hits earning herself a .273 batting average. She had nine doubles and one home run along with 40 runs and 26 RBI’s. She had 37 successful stolen bases out of 40 attempts which ranked her second all-time for stolen bases in a single season in Upstate Softball history. Price had her best game against Campbell where she had a walk-off grand slam to help the Spartans win 10-1 in six innings.
2021 (Junior): Started all 46 games in the 2021 season. She had 155 at-bats and 53 hits earning herself a .342 batting average. She had seven doubles and one triple along with 35 runs and 24 RBI’s. She went 20 for 22 for stolen bases. Price had her best game against Florida A&M where she had four runs, four hits, and six RBI’s.
2020 (COVID/Sophomore): Started all 24 games at shortstop for the Spartans and was batting .329 when the season ended…Price ranked 9th nationally in stolen base per game (0.75), ranked 2nd in the Big South in steals (18), lead the team in runs scored (20) and triples (2)…Price recorded a pair of 4-hit performances against Maryland Eastern Shore (2/29/2020) and Stetson (3/11/19).
2019 (Freshman): Started all 56 games she played over the course of her freshman season. Price had 59 hits on 169 at bats earning her a .349 batting average. She had 6 doubles, 3 triples, and 23 RBI’s on the season. She had 26 total walks with only 17 strikeouts. 28-28 on stolen base attempts. Price had 3 games where she was 3-4 in the box but her best game came against Robert Morris on Feb. 25th when she hit an rbi double with 2 stolen bases helping the team to a 5-1 victory. Price ended the season ranked in the top 10 of several categories in the Big South Conference: 10th in batting average (.349), 1st in runs scored (47), 6th in hits (59), 10th in triples (3), 10th in walks (23), and 5th in stolen bases (28).
High School/Travel Ball: Graduated from Landrum High School…Lettered in volleyball, basketball, softball and track and field…Three-time All-State and four-time All-Region performer in softball…Played on three region championship teams in softball and two in basketball…Female Athlete of the Year in South Carolina in Class AA-Region I in 2016…Also won two state championships in weightlifting…Played travel ball for 3rd Degree and played in the nationals three times.
Personal: Born on February 11, 2000…Parents are David and Sandy Price…Has two sisters, Savannah and Sydney.
