2022 - GRADUATE

  • Earned his master's degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education & Communication on May 20
  • His 39th career home run—a solo bomb in the fifth inning against Notre Dame in game two of the Knoxville Super Regional (6/11)—moved him out of a tie with the legendary Todd Helton and made him Tennessee's all-time home runs leader (however, teammate Luc Lipcius tied Russell's record with his 39th career homer later that same inning).
  • Contributed to the Vols' six-run ninth inning in the comeback win over Georgia Tech with an RBI single through the left side (6/5)
  • Threw out two baserunners during the SEC Tournament, including one in the championship game against Florida (5/29)
  • Added to Tennessee's five-run third inning in the SEC Tournament opener against Vanderbilt (5/26) with an RBI double
  • Batted .500 with seven total hits during Tennessee's series sweep at Mississippi State (5/19-5/21)—notching four doubles and one home run
  • Tied the program record for career home runs with a fifth-inning blast to left center, matching VFL Todd Helton's total of 38 for his career in the series finale at Mississippi State (5/21)
  • Backed up his superb first game with another multi-hit outing against Mississippi State (5/20), going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored
  • Was 4-for-5 with three doubles, three RBIs and two runs scored in the series opener at Mississippi State (5/19)
  • Had a terrific weekend against Georgia (5/12-14), going 4-for-10 with two home runs—both of which came during the series-clinching game two—and driving in four RBIs and scoring a pair of runs

  • Went 2-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in win over Tennessee Tech (5/11)
  • Drove in two runs and tied a career high with two doubles in series finale at Missouri (5/9)
  • Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and an RBI in win over Kentucky (5/1)
  • Hit a pair of three-run homers, one of which turned out to be the game-winning hit, and tied a career high with six RBI in series finale at Texas A&M (4/25)

  • Hit his fourth home run of the series with a solo shot in the fourth inning vs. Vanderbilt (4/18)

  • Hit his fourth home run in three games with a solo shot in win over Western Carolina (3/30)
  • Tied the Tennessee single-game record with three home runs in win over LSU (3/27) and also set or tied career highs in hits (three), runs (three), RBI (five) and total bases (12)
  • Went 2-for-4 with a triple, a run scored and a walk in SEC opener at Georgia (3/19)

  • Singled and scored a run vs. Indiana State (2/27)

2020 - JUNIOR

  • Played in 16 games and made 13 starts during shortened 2020 season (COVID-19)
  • Reached base in all four of his plate appearances in win over ETSU, going 2-for-2 with a pair of walks. Also hit a three-run homer an tied a career high with three runs scored in the win (3/10)
  • Singled and scored two of UT's three runs ins series finale against Wright State (3/8)
  • Hit a two-run homer in win over UNC Asheville (2/26)
  • Went 1-for-3 with two runs and three RBI in win over Northern Kentucky (2/25)

2019 - SOPHOMORE

  • Played in 55 games with 50 starts and finished the year averaging .274 with 46 hits, six home runs and 39 RBIs. Finished third on the team in SLG% with a .446 with a .382 OBP
  • Went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in a 10-3 win over UNCW (6/1)
  • Opened on a 2-for-4 performance with a home run in a loss to Liberty at the Chapel Hill Regional
  • Hit 1-for-3 with an RBI in a loss to Ole Miss (5/18)
  • Went 1-for-3 with a run scored in a win at Florida (5/12)
  • Batted 3-for-4 with three  runs batted in and two runs scored in a win over Missouri (5/3)

2018 - FRESHMAN

  • Finished tied for second on the team with 17 RBI in SEC play.
  • Had a nine-game hit streak from April 25 - May 11.
  • Drove in a pair of runs and scored once in 8-7 win over Vanderbilt (5/13)
  • Set a career-high with three hits and also drove in a run vs. No. 13 Kentucky (5/5)
  • Went 2-or-4 with a triple and a run scored vs. Morehead State (5/1)
  • Homered and drove in a pair of runs in loss at No. 20 Georgia (4/28)
  • Had an RBI double and scored two runs vs. No. 21 Tennessee Tech (4/25)
  • Hit a two-run homer in loss at No. 19 LSU (4/13)
  • Set a career high with three runs scored and hit first-career triple in win over UT Martin (4/10)
  • Scored twice, had two hits and had one RBI in a win over Belmont (4/3)
  • Brought in the eventual game-winning run with an RBI walk for the second straight games vs. Alabama (3/24)
  • Record a walk-off RBI walk in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Vols past Alabama (3/23)
