Coronavirus/COVID-19

To keep all of us safe, but especially to protect our most vulnerable patients, Akron Children’s will continue to rely on the proven safety protocols that slow the spread of COVID-19.
These include promoting social distancing and hand washing, and encouraging those who are eligible to get the vaccine.

Thank you for helping to keep our patients safe.

COVID-19 Vaccine Image

Parents and caregivers can now get their children 6 months through 4 years of age vaccinated to better protect them from COVID-19.

At this time, Akron Children’s is administering the Pfizer vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine for this age group is a 3 shot series, 3 weeks between the first and second doses, 8 weeks between doses two and three. The vaccine is available for established and new patients at our pediatric practices, Quick Care and Urgent Care locations.

Vaccine updates
Currently, we are scheduling the COVID vaccine for children 6 months through 4 years old.

How to schedule a vaccine appointment:

  • Current patients of an ACHP pediatric practice may schedule through MyChart.
  • Patients that are not in one of our pediatric practices, or those without MyChart, may schedule here.
  • Call the appointment center at 330-543-2778.

If you received your vaccine at a clinic staffed by Akron Children’s, but you aren’t a patient:
