Tulane University Athletics and LEARFIELD, its multimedia rightsholder, today introduced Corey Gloor as "Voice of the Green Wave" and director of broadcasting.
 
Gloor will begin calling play-by-play for Tulane football, men's basketball and baseball concurrent with the 2021-22 college athletics season. In addition to live play-by-play broadcasting during Tulane games, Gloor will help produce a wide variety of content for the athletic department, including coaches shows, podcasts, videos and other digital offerings. 
 
Most recently, Gloor has spent the last six years as the radio play-by-play broadcaster for East Carolina University baseball on LEARFIELD's Pirate Sports Network. During those six years, Gloor called four of ECU's NCAA postseason tournament runs.
  
Gloor brings over a decade of experience as a sports radio broadcaster, including play-by-play broadcasting and studio production within the LEARFIELD network. From 2014-18, Gloor produced and hosted football and basketball radio broadcasts on the TCU Sports Network. In addition, the Rockford, Illinois, native produced and hosted basketball radio broadcasts on the Gator LEARFIELD Network during the 2016-17 campaign.
 
Gloor began his broadcasting career in Janesville, Wisconsin, where he served as a co-host for 'Jock Talk', a nightly sports talk show. He also served as the play-by-play voice of the Beloit Snappers – Single A Affiliate of the Oakland Athletics. Gloor received his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois.
