Biography

2022-2023: Appeared and started in 29 games for Tulane… Was a preseason AAC Second Team All-Conference Selection… Averaged a career high 14.9 ppg and .306 three point percentage… Recorded his first double-double of the season versus CSU with 17 points and 10 rebounds (11/16)… Nabbed his second double-double of the season versus Temple on Jan. 11th with 15 points and 10 rebounds… Earned a career high 37 points and 15 rebounds versus Cincinnati, also earning his third double-double of the season (2/7)… Recorded a second straight double-double with 19 points and 13 rebounds against South Florida (2/18)… Broke the Tulane record for most points and rebounds in a AAC tournament game with 24 points and 13 rebounds in the AAC semifinals versus Wichita State (3/10)… Recorded a career high five double-doubles… Earned AAC Third Team All-Conference Honors and NBAC All-District 24 honors at the conclusion of the season.

2021-22: Appeared and started in 28 games during the 2021-22 season… Averaged 3.9 points per game shooting .520 from the field a figure that ranked first in the AAC… Ranked third in the AAC in rebounds at 6.7 per game and first in defensive rebounds with 5.85 per game… Made the AAC Weekly Honor Roll once… Scored double figures 23 times… Scored a season-high 21 points versus Drexel (11/22) Recorded three double-doubles, versus Alcorn State with 16 points 13 assists (12/4), at ECU having 17 points and 11 rebounds (1/5) and versus Wichita State totaling 20 points and 11 rebounds (1/29)… Earned All-AAC Third Team Honor and AAC Most Improved Player of the Year.

2020-21: Played in all 23 games and made 20 starts in his first season with the Green Wave…Ranked second on the team in rebounding and led the team on the glass in six contests…Scored in double-figures in five games…Dished out three or more assists on four occasions…Recorded multiple blocks six times…Averaged 6.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 22.1 minutes per game…Put up nine points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the win over Lipscomb (11/29)…Compiled 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting with five boards and a pair of blocks against Memphis (12/16)…Grabbed a season-high nine rebounds against No. 6 Houston (1/28)… Scored a season-high 15 points on 5-of-8 shooting with seven rebounds and four assists in the win at Temple (1/31)… Tallied 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting in the road win at USF (2/14)… Made a season-high 6 shots to finish with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists against Wichita State (3/3)…Scored 11 points with four assists against No. 7 Houston in the quarterfinals of the AAC Championship (3/12).

At Nebraska (2019-20): Appeared in all 32 games and made two starts for the Cornhuskers, averaging 7.1 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 18.3 minutes per contest…Ranked fifth among all true freshmen in the Big Ten Conference in rebounding and seventh in both scoring and 3-pointers made (32)…Scored double-digit points nine times, handed out multiple assists in 11 games and made multiple 3-pointers on seven occasions….Scored a career-high 23 points and recorded personal-bests in rebounds (9) and 3-pointers made (4) against Indiana in the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.
 
High School/Prep: Played for Coach Raymond Cooper at Mills University Studies High School and was a two-time all-state selection in Arkansas…Helped Mills to a 28-5 record and runner-up honors in Class 4A as a senior, averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds and two assists per game…Named first-team all-state in Class 4A by the Arkansas Basketball Coaches Association and garnered second-team all-state (all classes) by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette…Scored 24 points with nine rebounds in the state title game loss to Magnolia…Top two performances as a senior were a 34-point, 20-rebound effort and a 29-point, 21-board showing, respectively…Received MVP honors at the 2019 All-Metro Classic with a 32-point effort, which included six 3-pointers…Named a first-team all-state Class 5A selection by the ABCA and a second-team all-state honoree by the Democrat-Gazette as a junior, averaging 14.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest as the team went 29-3 en route to a runner-up finish at the state tournament….Listed to the Mills honor roll multiple times during his high school career…Played for Coach Shaun Raynolds of the C.H.A.M.P.S. program on the AAU circuit.
