Biography

2021 (Freshman): Saw action in 46 games and made 45 starts... Finished the year with a .285 average, had 43 hits, eight doubles and 26 RBI... He led the team with 29 walks drawn... With the most coming on (5/29) against USF (4) Scored 33 runs on the year... Had 14 multi-hit games...highlightes by a five-multi-hit game strek... Collected his first RBI of the year on opening night against Louisiana-Lafayette (2/19)... Drove in five in the second series of the year against Western Kentukcy... Sent his first out of the park at home against Grand Canyon (3/26)...Had a season high two doubles at Coincinnati (5/20)... Collected a season-high three hits and three RBI at Cincinnati while crossing the plate twice (5/22)... Had an impressive showing at the American Athletic Conference Championship with four hits, four RBI anf three runs on the tournament.

Prior to Tulane: A Louisiana-native, LaPrairie joins Tulane from Lafayette, where he was a three-year letterwinner at St. Thomas More…As an outfielder, he helped his team to semifinals appearances in his sophomore and junior seasons…As a junior, he helped lead the Cougars to a 31-9 record and an appearances in the Division II semifinals…He led the team in RBI (39) and walks (30) and tied for the team lead in doubles (12) and home runs (three)…Plans to major in finance…Grandfather, Joseph LaPrairie, played football at Tulane.
