Biography

2021 (Redshirt Junior): Saw action in 40 games and made 40 starts... Finished the year with a .213 average, six doubles and 15 RBI... His three triples ranked second on the team... Scored 22 runs on the year... Opened the year on a high note, as he went 2-for-4 with a double in the season-opener against Louisiana-Lafayette (2/19)... Collected his first RBI of the year in the series finale against Louisiana-Lafayette (2/21)... Drove in a pair of RBI against eventual national champion Mississippi State (2/27)... Picked up his first triple of the year at home against Western Kentucky (3/6)... Collected a season-high three hits and two RBI at Troy (3/14)... In his first action in over a month after suffering an injury, he returned to the lineup by scoring a run and picking up a hit at Memphis (4/23)... Collected four RBI in four games at nationally-ranked ECU (5/7-9)... Went 2-for-4 with a season-high three RBI at home against UCF (5/16)... Drove in a pair of runs against USF (5/29, game one) in the American Athletic Conference Championship.

2020 (Junior): Started all 17 games in his first season at Tulane at third base… Finished third on the team in batting average, while finishing second in total hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, walks and stolen bases… Hit. 359 on the season with 23 hits, including five doubles, a triple and three home runs, with 14 RBI and team-high 20 runs scored… Slugged .609 and drew 10 walks for a .455 on-base percentage… Was 3-for-5 in stolen bases, with a sacrifice fly and two sacrifice bunts… Finished second on the team in multi-hit games with seven, with six games with two hits and one game with four hits… Was second on the team in multi-RBI games with four, with two games of three RBI and two games of three RBI… Had the longest hitting streak for any player on the team with 11 games, while reaching base in a team-high 14 consecutive games… Went 2-for-5 with a run scored in game two against Florida Gulf Coast (2/15)… Drove in two on one hit with a stolen base at Louisiana-Lafayette (2/19)… Smoked a double with a walk and run scored in game one against Cal State Fullerton (2/21)… Belted his first Tulane home run in game two against the Titans (2/22)… Had a double among two hits, two RBI, two walks and two runs scored in the finale against Fullerton (2/23)… Was 2-for-3 with a walk against New Orleans (2/26)… Had a double and a run scored against in game one against Middle Tennessee (2/28)… Hit a walk-off home run to claim the series against Middle Tennessee, driving in three with two runs scored (2/29)… Became the first Tulane player to hit for the cycle in the finale against the Blue Raiders, with three RBI and four runs scored (3/1)… Had two hits with an RBI and two runs scored against Lamar (2/10)… Had a double among two hits and a run scored in the finale against Lamar (2/11).

Prior to Tulane: Spent two years at Parkland College in Illinois, where as a sophomore he served as the team’s starting shortstop, playing in all 54 games where he averaged .326 at the plate with a .421 slugging percentage and .484 on-base percentage… Ranked in the top 10 in the region in hits, runs, RBI, steals and at-bats, as the Cobras finished the year as the NJCAA Division II national runner-up… Was named the NJCAA DII Player of the Week after batting .407 while accounting for 28 of Parkland's runs over six games… Had seven RBI in a game on the season.
 
High School: Was a four-sport athlete at Springfield High School in Illinois, earning four letters in baseball and basketball, while earning two in football and golf… A four-year starter on the baseball team, was a three-time Central State Eight Conference selection and helped set the school record for wins in a state title runner-up finish as a junior… Is third all-time at the school in games played and runs scored, while sitting fifth in hits and stolen bases… As a senior, hit .414 in 30 games, driving in 21 with 14 stolen bases and 35 runs scored in being selected to the Illinois Coaches Association All-Star Game… Hit over .300 in every season of high school, with a .306 average as a freshman, .340 mark as a sophomore and .331 season as a junior… Was an all-conference pick in golf, while earning the SHS Multi-Sport Award and the Willard Duey Award as the senior male athlete of the year.
