EML Department's Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Showcase
This Showcase is open to all EML students regardless of their major, option, or year of study. Minors in the Department with a major outside it are also welcome to present.  To participate in Showcase on April 7, 2023, please submit your proposal by filling out this form.  Types of presentations to consider:

(a) A research paper or project you completed in one of your classes or are currently working on
(b) A lesson plan or other teaching activity you developed and would like to share with future teachers
(c) A creative piece you have written. This can be a(n excerpt from a) piece of fiction, a nonfiction essay, a poem, or another literary creation.
(d) A poster presentation of your research or lesson plan.

Presentation may be delivered in any language in which the project was conducted and written.

Please write a short abstract (about 200 words) of your presentation.  Make sure to include the topic or focus of your presentation and briefly explain why it is important.  Keep your audience in mind - not all proposal readers will be familiar with your field. Keep your expression clear and accessible. If possible, get help from your faculty mentor in writing the proposal.  Please make sure to specify which language you will be presenting your work in.  *
