"You must immediately call these criminals out for what they are, domestic terrorists, and use the full extent of your powers to prevent their intended bloodshed," the Republicans concluded.

In a letter sent to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday, Republican members of Congress demanded that members of the militant pro-abortion group Jane's Revenge be deemed "domestic terrorists" following their attacks on pro-life centers, and their most recent communication.

In the letter, obtained by The Daily Wire, the group said they were writing to express "grave concern" with members of Jane’s Revenge, stating that  they are "a threat to expectant mothers across America, many of whom are in desperate need of assistance."

"We are calling on the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to officially classify those committing crimes through Jane’s Revenge as domestic terrorists in response to their clear involvement in acts dangerous to human life," the letter states.

The group of Republicans, led by Congressman Markwayne Mullin, stated that actions conducted by Jane’s Revenge violate both US and state laws, and that "the group itself has claimed intent to intimidate civilians and government officials."

The letter urges both the FBI and DHS to investigate those involved and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

The letter draws on a recently released communication from Jane’s Revenge, which stated that officials’ "thirty days expired yesterday."

The open letter takes credit for over a dozen attacks on pregnancy centers across the US, and states that they are prepared for more attacks in the near future, as a decision in the case of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health looms, which could see the overturning of Roe v Wade.

"The attacks on pregnancy centers in these towns include arson, vandalism, and threats toward the owners and employees of these centers," the letter from Republican lawmakers stated. "Many of the buildings were tagged with graffiti stating, 'if abortions aren’t safe, neither are you.'"

"Their letter goes as far as to say that this group of liberal extremists enjoys these vicious attacks, stating how 'east and fun it is to attack' these important healthcare access points," the letter continued.

The Republicans noted additional statements made in the Jane’s Revenge letter, including that its members have vowed to take "increasingly dramatic measures" against such pregnancy centers, and that "those measures may not come in the form of something so easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti."

"It is clear by their threats that the members of this group have no regard for human life and may be willing to kill those in the pro-life community to further their politically motivated agenda," the Republicans wrote.

The Republican lawmakers’ letter also calls out the Jane’s Revenge communication for calling for others to join their cause.

"Churches and pregnancy centers are at extreme risk and the members of Jane’s Revenge have been clear that they will not stop their reign of terror until pregnancy centers stop providing life-affirming services," the letter stated.

"You must immediately call these criminals out for what they are, domestic terrorists, and use the full extent of your powers to prevent their intended bloodshed," the Republicans concluded.

According to The Daily Wire, signing onto this letter were lawmakers that included,  Reps. Greg Steube of Florida, Jeff Duncan of South Carolina, Jody Hice of Georgia, and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.

Late last week, the FBI told the Daily Wire that they are "investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country."

"The FBI takes all threats seriously and we continue to work closely with our law enforcement partners and will remain vigilant to protect our communities," they added.

These attacks on pregnancy centers across the US come ahead of the widely anticipated decision in the case of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health, which in a leaked draft decision published in May, it indicated that a majority of the Supreme Court justices could rule on the side of the state of Mississippi, effectively overturning Roe v Wade.

The leaked draft decision has sparked protests across the country in addition to these violent attacks, with one man being arrested outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s Maryland home with a gun, intending to murder the justice.
