How to Transfer Tickets

Open the Ticketmaster App and sign in to your account.

Navigate to My Events and select the event to view your tickets.

Tap Transfer.
NOTE: If the Transfer button is grayed out, your tickets are not eligible for transfer.

Select the tickets you'd like to transfer and tap Transfer To.

Enter your recipient's information, including their mobile number or email address and an optional note.
TIP: If a mobile number is entered, a link to claim the ticket will open within a text message–all you need to do is press send! If an email address is entered, a link to claim the ticket is sent via an email message.

Tap Transfer Ticket.
Your transferred tickets will show as sent. When your recipient has accepted them, the ticket will show as claimed. You will receive an email confirming the ticket has been accepted by your recipient. After a successful transfer, the ticket is no longer valid for entry from your account.

How long will the tournament be in Baltimore?
The CIAA and the city of Baltimore recently announced a two year extension through 2025.
Tournament week 2024 – February 25-March 2, 2024
Tournament week 2025 – February 23-March 1, 2025
Has the tournament location changed?
The Baltimore Arena, formerly known as Royal Farms Arena, underwent a $200 million dollar renovation, and is now known as the CFG Bank Arena. The location has not changed, but it is now a state-of-the-art entertainment venue that will host our premier event.
Why are tickets going digital?
The CFG Bank Arena will be a completely digital arena by 2024.
How and where can I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased via
www.ticketmaster.com or
www.ciaatournament.org Limited quantities of Early Bird ticket sales begin August 1.
Will I receive a ticket card?
The CIAA has transitioned to digital tickets. Ticket cards will not be issued.
Can I purchase tickets through a CIAA institution or the CIAA Office?
What are the different types of tickets I can buy?
All-session general admission tickets (Monday-Saturday)
Weekend general admission tickets (Thursday-Saturday)
Single session general admission tickets
Weekend reserved center court tickets (Thursday-Saturday)
Single session reserved center court tickets
When will I be able to buy courtside tickets?
Courtside seats will be available to purchase beginning August 1, 2023. Email
businessoffice@theciaa.com for order information.
Is there a limit as to how many digital tickets I can purchase on one order?
8 tickets can be purchased with each order.
Will I be able to buy and transfer a digital ticket?
All digital tickets purchased can be transferred. If a ticket is transferred and “claimed”, you will not be able to transfer that ticket unless it is transferred back to you.
Are tickets only available digitally via a Smartphone?
When you purchase tickets on the Ticketmaster website, you can select a Will Call delivery option. The tickets will be printed and will be available for pick up at the arena box office no earlier than the start of the first session on Monday night.
Is a smart phone needed to use my tickets?
A smart phone is required to display all digital tickets.
How will I access my tickets if my smartphone dies?
Fans are encouraged to keep their phones charged. The CFG Bank Arena box office will be available to assist with accessing tickets if necessary.
When will single session tickets be available for purchase?
Single session tickets will go on sale September 25.
Can I buy tickets through the CIAA office?
No. The only way you can buy tickets is through Ticketmaster or in person at the CFG Bank Arena box office.
How can I buy an ADA seat?
You can purchase ADA seats on the Ticketmaster website. Once you get to the CFG Bank Arena you will be directed to the ADA seating locations.
Is there an option to limit the ticket fees that are charged?
The Ticketmaster fees are not charged on tickets that are purchased IN PERSON at the CFG Bank Arena box office. Not all fees are waived, but the Ticketmaster fees are not charged.
What are weekend tickets?
These are packages that include tickets for Thursday-Saturday only.

Will there be any Alumni Events?
Each institution is responsible for coordinating specific events and communicating that with its alumni and supporters. If events are advertised, the information will be shared through the institution. Check their respective websites for more information or contact their office of Alumni Affairs.

The CIAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships generates incremental funds that provide scholarship and general support to the 12 member institutions of the conference.
