Best Route To Travel To Jones AT&T Stadium

Fans attending football games at Jones AT&T Stadium are advised to arrive early to avoid traffic congestion around the stadium close to kickoff. Fans who have reserved parking passes issued by Texas Tech Athletics should follow the printed directions on the back of each parking pass.

Stadium Location

Jones AT&T Stadium is located on the Texas Tech campus near the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and University Avenue. For GPS purposes, use the address: 2526 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79409.

Directions

  • From Lubbock International Airport - Take I-27 south to downtown, take Marsha Sharp Freeway (US 82) exit and head west (right turn). The stadium will be on the left.
  • From US Highway 84 - Follow US 84 to I-27 and head north (right turn). Take Marsha Sharp Freeway (US 82) exit and head West (left turn) The stadium will be on the left.
  • From US Highway 82 - US Highway 82 turns into the Marsha Sharp Freeway (US 82) at I-27. Continue heading west until you reach the stadium.

Welcome to Jones AT&T Stadium, home of the Texas Tech Red Raiders. The stadium is located on campus at the corner of University Ave. and the Marsha Sharp Freeway. For GPS purposes, please use 2526 Mac Davis Lane.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Guests will be able to carry the following style and size bag, package or container into the venue:
  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12."
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection.

ADA Elevator Access (West Side Only):  Guests requiring ADA access to the outside seats (west side) may show mobile ticket at Gate 1B (Media/ADA Entrance) and then access elevators to mezzanine level.  

ADA Seating:  ADA seating, including wheelchair spaces, are available on a game by game basis.  Guests who do not have reserved ADA seats (row 34 in sections 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 18) may contact the ticket office at 806-742-TECH (8324) for possible alternate seating options (if available). Standing is not allowed in the ADA seating area.
 
Alcohol:  Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the stadium.  Beer and wine are available for purchase along the concourse inside the gates.
 
Bags and Bag Search:  Small clutch bags (no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”), clear bags (12”x6”x12”) are permitted.  All other bags are not permitted. All items brought into the stadium are subject to search. Exception: Necessary Medical Bag (will require special inspection). See BAG POLICY FAQs for more details.

Beverages/Food:  Outside beverages and/or food are not allowed into the stadium.  
 
Bus (Shuttle Service): Citibus provides roundtrip shuttle service beginning 3 hours prior to kick-off until 1 hour after conclusion of the game. Cost is $5.00 per person (cashless through their app - GoPass) for roundtrip service. Pick-up stations are located at the parking lots north of John Walker Soccer Complex (Texas Tech Parkway & 10th St.) and northwest of Health Sciences Center ADA lot only (Texas Tech Parkway & 5th St.).  Drop-off is at the north side (Gate 3-4 area) of the stadium.  Citibus Map | Go Pass App: iPhone | Android

Cashless Venue: Please be aware Texas Tech athletic events are cashless and there will not be functioning ATM machines inside the stadium.

Concessions:  Oak View Group operates the concession stands located on the concourse. | Concession Menus

Conduct:  Guests are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate manner at all times. Texas Tech University supports the Big 12 Conference Code of Sportsmanship and encourages our fans to treat visitors, players, coaches and officials with courtesy. Violators of stadium policies are subject to ejection.

 
Containers and Coolers:  Cans, glass, bottles, coolers (ice chests) and other type beverage containers are prohibited in the stadium. Exception: One unopened 20 ounce (or less) bottle of water (not frozen) or empty beverage container may be brought in.  Outdoor athletics events only.

Electronic Ticket Scanning:  Mobile tickets will be electronically scanned.  There will be No Re-entry. Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office.
 
Express Lanes are available at all gates for fans without items to be inspected.
 
Field Access:  Field access is limited only to those individuals with a proper credential.
 
Firearms:  Firearms are not allowed in the stadium (Texas Penal Code Section 30.06).
 
First Aid:  Medical services are available at the First Aid stations located on the west side concourse and on the east side concourse. In case of an emergency, please contact a Police Officer or Event Staff personnel.  Guests with pre-existing medical conditions or special needs are encouraged to check in at First Aid and inform the attendants of their seating locations.

Gates: Gates 1, 3, 3A, 4, 4A, 5 open 1 ½ hours prior to kickoff.  Individuals ages 2 and older must present a valid ticket for entry into the stadium. Gates 6 (student gate), gates 2 and 5 Club/Suites, will open 2 hours prior to kick-off.

Heat Management Stations: Heat Management stations will be located at gates 1, 3, 4 and 6 providing water refills and sunscreen in the station at selected games based on weather conditions.

Lost Children:  In case of a missing child, contact a Police Officer or Event Staff personnel. Lost children will be escorted to either of the stadium security offices located on the west and east concourses of the stadium.
 
Lost and Found:  Articles found in the Stadium, Club Level, Suite Levels and Press Level are turned over immediately to the TTPD Stadium Security Office. Items unclaimed at TTPD Stadium Security Office – post game - are taken to the TTPD offices (2901 4th Street).
 
Merchandise:  Officially licensed Texas Tech merchandise is available for purchase at Red Raider Outfitters locations throughout the stadium. Unauthorized merchandise may not be sold on the grounds in or around the stadium. Guests approached by someone selling merchandise are asked to report the person and location to an Event Staff personnel or Police Officer.

Parking:

Game day parking is available on a season long basis or game by game in certain locations on and off campus. 

Season Long Parking 

  • Season long parking for each game is available. Most season long lots require a minimum Red Raider Club membership level and permit fee (where applicable). See a full map here for more information.  
  • To secure season long football game day parking, contact the Red Raider Club at: rrc@ttu.edu or call (806) 742-1196.

Single Game Parking 

  • See map for single game paid lots and free fan parking. 
  • All lots sold on a single game basis are available to purchase in advance or on the day of the game when entering those lots. Day of game sales accepts credit/debit card only. 
  • Buses will service the S-1, USA Auto Red, and Free Parking lots beginning 3 hours prior to kickoff, and will run 1 hour after the game has ended. 
    • Buses will charge $5 per person (cashless thru the app - GoPass) prior to game.

RV’s/Buses 

  • RV lots will open Friday evenings at 5:30 PM and will not have to exit the lots until 10 AM on Sunday. 
  • All RV’s must park in their assigned space, with the exception of passes in the S-1 Area Reserved Spaces - these spaces are unassigned. 
  • Please be considerate of your neighbors when utilizing generators in the RV areas.

Game Day Reserved Parking Guidelines 

  • Lots will open at 7:30 AM on game days. 
  • No tents larger than 10’ by 10’ will be permitted. Tents located in a parking space must fit within one space. 
  • RV lots will open Friday evenings at 5:30 PM. 
  • All pass holders must park in their assigned spaces if in an assigned space lot. 
    • C-1, C-2, R-24, DLE 
  • ADA spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis for all lots on campus and do not require a parking pass, but must have ADA Placard. 
    • Please note that ADA spaces in C-1 and C-2. Spaces in these lots are reserved and assigned, therefore anyone wanting to park in these spaces must be at the appropriate donor level and must have a lot parking pass in addition to their ADA Placard. 

Free Public Parking: Free parking is located northwest of Health Sciences Center at Texas Tech Parkway and 5th Street. Citibus provides roundtrip shuttle service beginning 3 hours before kick-off for $5.00 per person (cash or by using the Citibus app) to the north side (between Gates 3-4) of the stadium. Bus Routes

ADA Public Parking:  ADA parking is located north of the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in the parking lots located off 5th street and Joliet. Must have a valid ADA placard and/or hangtag. A charge of $5 (cashless through the app - GoPass) will apply to all riders. ADA patrons may ride regular buses (provided by CitiBus) or take the ADA shuttle as the bus loop for pre-game and post-game will stop near the ADA lot. The ADA shuttle will only run from the stadium to the ADA lot located north of the TTUHSC. ADA shuttles will drop off and pick up passengers at Gate 3 which will be marked with signage.



Photography:  Hand-held still cameras are permitted for personal use.  Cameras with telescopic lenses (4” or longer), 300mm or greater focal length and video cameras are prohibited.  Commercial photography is prohibited.

Public Address Announcements:  Individuals will not be paged over the public address system.
 
Raider Alley: Raider Alley presented by Bud Light benefiting the Red Raider Club is located in Texas Tech’s historical engineering key, serving as the center for all pre-game and tailgating excitement in the heart of campus. Raider Alley is open to the public four hours prior to kickoff. Fans will be able to enjoy live music performed by popular musical acts. "Kids of all ages will enjoy our fan area, which includes inflatables, a face painting artist, a balloon twisting artist, a video game truck, and a rock-climbing wall." Fans can choose from a variety of food options, soft drinks, as well as beer/wine options, all available for purchase. Outdoor LED TVs will feature college football games from all over the country. Patrons can also enjoy a game day pep rally performed by our nationally renowned Spirit Program and the Goin’ Band from Raiderland. Corporate and private tailgates are available for purchase by contacting Tailgate Express or by visiting the Tailgate Express website. Please note that food and beverages purchased in Raider Alley may not be brought into Jones AT&T Stadium.

Restrooms:  Men’s, Women’s and Family restrooms are located throughout the stadium on the concourse level.
 
Smoking:  Jones AT&T Stadium is a Smoke-Free facility.  (Including electronic cigarettes/vaporing). There are no smoking areas within the stadium.  Those wishing to smoke outside the stadium will need a new ticket for admission. (See: Re-entry)
 
Solicitation: Texas Tech University policy prohibits solicitations or advertisements, sales, displays, distributions or publications on campus, including the grounds in or around the stadium. This includes solicitation of charitable donations and game or event tickets. Violators of this policy may be asked to leave the stadium or campus. | Solicitation Policy
 
Stadium Seats:  Stadium seats may be rented on game day at gates 1, 3, and 4. Season ticket holders interested in a season stadium seat may contact Red Raider Seatbacks at 1-866-909-8090 or redraiderseats.com.
 
Stadium Suites and Club Level Seating:  West Stadium Suites and Club Level seating are accessible through Gate 2. East Stadium Suites and Club Level seating are accessible through Gate 5. Throwing of Objects:  Anyone caught throwing objects inside the stadium and/or onto the field will be subject to ejection from the stadium and/or arrest.  For individuals ejected from the stadium, a ticket refund is not available.
 


Tickets:

General Information:   The Texas Tech Ticket Office will open three hours to kickoff for every home and close at the start of the third quarter. Tickets may be purchased at ticket windows located at Gate 1, Gate 3 and at the main ticket office, located in the south end of the East Stadium Building.  All Season tickets (if applicable) must be picked at the main ticket office.  All individuals ages 2 and older must present a ticket to enter the stadium.  Patrons assume all risks for tickets purchased through sources other than the Texas Tech Athletics Ticket Office.

Lost/Misplaced Tickets: Lost or misplaced tickets will be handled by the Texas Tech Athletic Ticket Office (located in the south end of the East Stadium Building) or on the west side at the ticket windows located at Gate 1 and Gate 3. Tel: 806-742-TECH (8324). Replacement ticket cost will be assessed.

Will Call:  Will call for individual game tickets will be available three hours prior to kickoff at Gate 1, Gate 3, and at the main ticket office, located in the south end of the East Stadium Building and close at the start of the third quarter.  Season ticket will call will only be available at the main ticket office.  Photo ID will be required for all will call tickets.  Only the account holder on record will be allowed to pick-up tickets from will call. If other arrangements need to be made, please contact the Ticket Office in advance of game day by calling (806) 742-TECH (8324).
 
Player-Guests:  Will-call location for Texas Tech player-guests is located at Gate 4A on the northeast corner of the stadium. Will-call location for the Visiting team is located at Gate 3A at the northwest corner of the stadium.  Will-call locations will open 1 ½ hours prior to kickoff and close at half time. A photo ID must be shown at the time of pick-up and tickets will be distributed in accordance with NCAA regulations.  Guests entering through the pass list must enter the Stadium as soon as tickets are received.

High School Football Coaches:  Coaches must use the following links starting Monday the week of the game to request tickets.  Any issues please call 806-742-4260.  Tickets may be picked-up at Gate 3A beginning 1½ hours prior to kick-off and close at half time.  A photo ID must be shown at the time of pick-up and tickets will be distributed in accordance to NCAA regulations.  Guests entering through the pass list must enter the Stadium as soon as tickets are received.

 


Umbrellas:  For the safety and consideration of all guests, umbrellas are prohibited in the stadium.  Guests may consider bringing appropriate rain gear in case of inclement weather.

Gameday Ticket Information

Tickets are available for this game and can be purchased in advance online. For fans who have requested their tickets be left for pickup at Will Call on Saturday need to be advised that Will Call will open three hours prior to game time and close at halftime. Tickets designated for Will Call can be picked up in the main athletics ticket office on the East Side of Jones AT&T or at the ticket booths located near Gate 1 and Gate 3.  Fans are advised to pick up Will Call tickets early as lines can get very long close to kickoff. Will Call tickets will be held until halftime. Tickets can be purchased on gameday (unless the game is Sold Out) in person at Gates 1 and 3 as well as the main athletics ticket office on the East Side of Jones AT&T Stadium until half-time. 

Club/Suite and student gates will open two hours prior to game time. All other gates at Jones AT&T Stadium will open an hour and a half before game time. Please note: No Re-Entry is allowed at Jones AT&T Stadium.
