Ohio University has begun receiving FAFSA data. While errors in FAFSA data received from the U.S. Department of Education are making headlines, OHIO's Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships is carefully reviewing FAFSA data before sending Financial Aid Offers. Later in April, OHIO expects to begin sending Financial Aid Offers to incoming students by mail to home addresses and notifications of aid offers to their OHIO email addresses. OHIO will reach out to students via email if any additional information is needed and also post requested documents to the To Do List in MyOHIO Student Center.
We recognize this delay in receiving your Financial Aid Offer can impact your college enrollment planning. We are doing everything we can to help, including extending our deadlines and awarding select scholarships prior to receiving FAFSA data.
We're happy to talk with you and your family more about any questions you have and provide one-on-one assistance with completing your FAFSA. Please reach out to us at 740.593.4141 or financial.aid@ohio.edu. Admitted for summer? Please review your summer 2024 aid timeline and frequently asked questions.
