Maryland Carey Law students can access remote and extended resources and services from the Thurgood Marshall Law Library to help you as you prepare for your law school exams. This article highlights a few of them:

  • West Academic Study Aids provides access to over 500 titles with convenient online access to hundreds of popular study aids from Foundation Press, Gilbert and West Academic Publishing. For example, books in the Exam Pro series are intended to help with exam preparation. The books provide students with sample essays and multiple choice questions in specific subject areas. Create an account if you need to take notes or access study aid content offline.
  • Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI) provides a collection of more than 270 computer-based tutorials in over 28 different legal subject areas. First-time users must register and create a password using the student or faculty authorization code, depending on your affiliation. Login to CALI.org with the password you create once registered.
  • The Maryland Carey Law Exams Archive database makes select exams from previous years available to students. The exams are browsable by professor and by course name.

Be sure to check our guide to Virtual and Extended Library Services and Resources for additional resources available to you. The Law Library is here to help you succeed at Maryland Carey Law! Just ask us if you need research help or additional information. We can be reached by chat and email at law-library@law.umaryland.edu
