Here, you will find podcasts with individuals who are affiliated with NEEPS, including faculty members, students, keynote speakers, friends, etc. The point of this podcast is to help disseminate information regarding NEEPS, which focuses on advancing our understanding of human behavior via a Darwinian approach.


  • 5/10/19: Catherine Salmon earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from McMaster University. Her primary research interests include birth order and the family, reproductive suppression and dieting behavior, and female sexuality (pornography use and influence of hormones). Anchor
  • 5/3/19: Dr. Maryanne Fisher of Saint Mary's University primarily researches evolutionary foundations of human interpersonal relationships, female intrasexual competition, women's mating strategies, and indicators of female physical attractiveness. She has spent her scholarship exploring the intersection between feminist studies and evolutionary psychology. Anchor
  • 4/26/19: Dr. Daniel Kruger of the University of Michigan is a former president and executive committee member of NEEPS. He studies several areas from an evolutionary perspective and conducts basic research, as well as implementing practical applications. His applied work includes community health surveys and program evaluations conducted in partnership with health departments and community-based organizations. Anchor
  • 4/19/19: Dr. Sarah Hill earned her Ph.D. at the University of Texas at Austin working with Dr. David Buss. She is a research psychologist and professor at Texas Christian University who studies health, relationships, and other forms of social behavior using the super-generative theoretical tools available from the evolutionary sciences.   • 3/22/19: Dr. Daniel Glass of Suffolk University talks about his work in clinical psychology while incorporating an evolutionary perspective to explain behavior and emotions, explains the mission of AEPS and its relation to NEEPS, and much more! Anchor
  • 3/15/19: Dr. Gordon Gallup of University at Albany is an evolutionary psychologist interested in reproductive competition and the biology of interpersonal attraction. He is the former editor of the Journal of Comparative Psychology, has more than 250 publications on topics such as self-recognition, the evolution of intelligence, human reproductive competition, semen chemistry and behavior, predator-prey relations, paternal assurance tactics, rape avoidance strategies, and the biology of interpersonal attraction, mirror test for self-awareness in chimpanzees.   • 3/8/19: Dr. Gregg Murray is the Executive Director of the Association for Politics and the Life Sciences, a Psychology Today Blogger, Professor of Political Science at Augusta University, and an at-large member of the NEEPS Executive Committee.
