School Counseling Mission

The mission of the Hapeville Elementary School Counseling Program is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students excel. By delivering evidence-based and culturally sound curriculum, we develop life-long learners that will understand their personal impact upon their community and the world at large. Our program removes academic, career, and social-emotional barriers and allows students to explore the college or career path of their choice.

School Counseling Vision

The vision of the Hapeville Elementary School Counseling Program is to develop students that are confident life-long learners who display integrity, character, and the strong interpersonal skills needed to succeed as members of society.

About me

I’m Mrs. Kirk, and this is my 2nd year at Hapeville Elementary. I am so excited for a new school year!

I am here to assist with all personal, social-emotional and academic needs. All students will see me monthly in their classrooms and may meet with me individually or in a small group. If you would like your student to see me, please reach out.

A little about me: This is my 5th year as a School Counselor. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Kennesaw State University, and my Master’s Degree in School Counseling from Capella University. I have lived in or around Atlanta my whole life. I spend my free time with my husband and my dog. We love to go on long walks and find new places to eat. I also enjoy traveling and reading a good book.

Sobre mí

Me llamo Sra.
