Audition Information
STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN
4th OR 5th GRADE
AT ANTIOCH ELEMENTARY FOR THE 2023/2024 SCHOOL YEAR TO AUDITION.
The audition will take about 30 minutes from beginning to end. You can sign up for a time slot at the signupgenius link below. In your auditions you will be asked to sing one of the two audition songs, there will be a quick dance taught during the audition, and there will be a couple of acting exercises as well. The only thing you need to have prepared is one of the songs (memorized). Please dress comfortably and wear shoes, not sandals. We ask that everyone auditioning bring a small picture of themselves to the audition. These will not be returned, but can be something as simple as a printed candid picture.
Please choose one of the songs to memorize and sing at auditions. We have "Dangerous to Dream" and "Let the Sun Shine On" for you to choose from. Youtube links to the song clips can be found on this page. You only need to have one of the two songs prepared/memorized. We will provide the music track at the audition for you to sing with. You will be singing with the track that does not have vocals. So make sure to also practice with that track too. Know your entrance and sing with the track, not at your own speed! Your song MUST be memorized. Make sure to look at the sign-up genius for more information on the audition process and to sign up!
Stage Ninja
Stage ninjas are a team of people that work backstage to make sure all of the set pieces are in their correct places for each scene. Stage Ninjas will be selected from students auditioning. There is no separate application this year for this position. All students that audition will be considered for a part in the play and a role as Stage Ninja.

Rehearsals are after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00-3:15.
The Performances of Frozen JR will be at Weddington High School on
Friday, January 26th at 7:00PM
and Saturday, January 27th at 2:00PM
