Meetings:

Meetings are every Monday after school (3:00pm) in Mr. Smith's room E203

  • Anyone can join at any point of the year!

  • Attendance is not mandatory, come when you can :)

  • No club dues

  • Every Wednesday, we collect Cuthbertson's recycling, learn about environmental issues, and have fun crafts/activities

  • Students can get service hours for attending the meetings (2 meetings = 1 hour)

Outside of School:

  • Campus cleanups

  • The Water Walk

  • School beautification (gardens, birdhouses, etc.)

  • Plarn collection

The Plarn Project

Plarn (plastic yarn) is a material made out of plastic grocery bags that is crocheted and made into sleeping mats for the homeless. The Environmental Club annually collects plastic bags from the school and neighborhoods in the community for the Plarn project!

The Water Walk

The Water Walk is an annual Environmental Club event to raise money for the charity "Water for South Sudan". The date for the 2020 Water Walk has not yet been announced.
