The activities board includes a variety of ways for you and your family to celebrate diversity during Black History Month.

  • Engage in learning as family by completing any of the activities below.

  • Share what your family learned on the Share Form at the bottom of the page.

  • Celebrate Black History with us by creating your own masterpiece by entering the "Black History Month Expressions Contest and Exhibition".

2022 Black History Month Expressions

Contest and Exhibition

Students are invited to submit artwork, spoken word, or a piece of writing that celebrates Black history, achievement, empowerment, or culture. Students who participate will have the opportunity to win prizes and have their work showcased on the Winburn Student News.

Submission Deadline: February 28th, 2022

Art Exhibition

Create a work of art that celebrates Black history, achievement, empowerment, or culture.

Bring your original artwork to Mr. Gonzalez to enter the contest and have your work displayed.
