2022 Black History Month Expressions
Contest and Exhibition
Students are invited to submit artwork, spoken word, or a piece of writing that celebrates Black history, achievement, empowerment, or culture. Students who participate will have the opportunity to win prizes and have their work showcased on the Winburn Student News.
Submission Deadline: February 28th, 2022
Art Exhibition
Create a work of art that celebrates Black history, achievement, empowerment, or culture.
Bring your original artwork to Mr. Gonzalez to enter the contest and have your work displayed.

Choose an inspirational quote, text, or poem by a Black author or icon and record a video sharing it with us.
Be sure to credit the your source.

Create an original essay or poem that reflects what Black History Month means to you.
