Primary Election, Tuesday, June 25, 2024
Polls are open from 6 am until 9 pm


Voter Eligibility:
Columbia County voters enrolled in the Democratic Party are eligible to vote in the June Primary Election. 


There are no Republican primary races this year. We'll see everybody else in November. 


Early Voting Hours for the 2024 Primary Election:

Saturday, June 15: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday, June 16: 9 am – 5 pm
Monday, June 17:      9 am – 5 pm
Tuesday, June 18: 12 pm – 8 pm
Wednesday, June 19: 12 pm – 8 pm
Thursday, June 20: 9 am – 5 pm
Friday, June 21: 9 am – 5 pm
Saturday, June 22: 9 am – 5 pm
Sunday, June 23: 9 am – 5 pm

Two Early Voting Locations: eligible voters can vote early at either early voting location, no matter where in the County the voter resides.

February 14th was the deadline for a Board of Elections to receive a change of party enrollment for this year’s primaries. 

You may update your party enrollment online through the State Board of Elections website or in person at your local Board of Elections by February 14th. Any enrollment change received after this deadline will not be effective until after the June Primary.

Important Deadlines for the 2024 Election Cycle

Change of Enrollment for 2024

An application to change one’s party enrollment for ANY primary election in 2024 must be IN HAND at the board of elections no later than February 14, 2024.


April 2, 2024 Presidential Primary Election Deadline

Voter Registration

You may register in person at the Columbia County Board of Elections, by mail, or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the Presidential Primary, your application must be received at the Columbia County Board of Elections no later than March 23, 2024.


June 25, 2024 Federal, State, and Local Primary Election Deadline

You may register in person at the Columbia County Board of Elections, by mail, or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the State and Local Primary, your application must be received at the Columbia County Board of Elections no later than June 15, 2024.


November 5, 2024 General Election Deadline

Voter Registration

You may register in person at the Columbia County Board of Elections, by mail, or any state agency participating in the National Voter Registration Act, on any business day throughout the year but, to be eligible to vote in the General Election, your application must be received at the Columbia County Board of Elections no later than October 26, 2024.
