LOUDONVILLE, NY – Fans will have their first opportunity to meet and greet the 2022-23 Siena Men's and Women's Basketball teams at a special community event. The Saints will host a special court rehabilitation dedication and ice cream social welcoming all fans to Lansing Park in Cohoes on Wednesday, August 10^th from 5-7 p.m.
 
The event, which will be held at Lansing Park located at 34 James Street in Cohoes, is free of charge and open to all. Fans will receive one ticket each upon arrival which can be redeemed for one free ice cream from the vendor on-site.
 
Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy some free ice cream while meeting and mingling with student athletes and coaches from both the Siena Men's and Women's Basketball teams, and hear remarks from head coaches Carmen Maciariello and Jim Jabir.
 
Programming will also include remarks from the event's title sponsor, American National Insurance, Siena College President Chris Gibson '86, Ph.D., and Cohoes Mayor William T. Keeler, who will formally dedicate the court.
 
Following the completion of the official programming, all youth in attendance will have the ability to partake in a free youth clinic on the newly refurbished court administered by both teams.
 
The refurbishment and dedication of the Lansing Park basketball court is the culmination of a project several years in the making, fulfilling Siena Athletics' pledge to help "Build Better Saints" and embracing the College's Franciscan values by giving back to the local community. Siena Athletics has proudly partnered with American National Insurance on the court refurbishment, and is grateful to its local community partners – BSN Sports, LeChase Construction, and TEC Protective Coatings – who volunteered both their time and resources to help complete this project benefiting the Cohoes community.
 
While the event is free of charge, fans who wish to attend are kindly asked to RSVP at sienasaints.com/rsvp by Monday, August 8^th to help provide an accurate count.
 
2022-23 Siena Men's and Women's Basketball Season Tickets are on-sale now, and can be secured by logging onto sienasaints.com/tickets, or by contacting the Siena Fan Relations Management Center during traditional business hours Monday-Friday by phone at (518) 487-2202, or by e-mail at sienatickets2@siena.edu.
