In 2021, Storefriendly Self Storage Group opens a new page for mini storage services with the grand opening of the first Storefriendly Tower (Kwun Tong Branch) in Hong Kong. The full-block Storefriendly Self Storage offers a private club-like experience, from environment, security, storage to professional moving, providing a more complete one-stop service.

The solar panel project generates extra revenue of the property as well as to reduce pollution from the electricity company when we resell it to them.

The StoreFriendly GO (intelligent robots) that enhance the customer experiences when they visit our property. The VIP lounge with relaxing place let our customers simply to manage their personal storage space with more convenient and efficient experience.

As of environmental business practices, Storefriendly 1) reduces energy and using renewable energy sources to become a net zero organisation 2) and Storefriendly reduces carbon emissions by installing EV Charger in our carparks, car owner can enough free power charging with their loved car in all Storefriendly Towers.  3) We’ve changed to LED lighting in HK Head Office.

Storefriendly has established the Storefriendly Foundation, we would like to provide more social services to local. Storefriendly is the first in adopting robotic technology in the self-storage industry. We were looking to find ways to innovate new tech solutions to offer affordable and never-before-seen storage services.

StorefriendlyGO is a new and innovative service which utilises a system with QR Codes that are unique to each individual customer. Customers will only be able to retrieve their dedicated storage units when they scan their QR Codes at one of our 4 terminals. This means that no-one is allowed into the storage zone and provides customers the ease of mind and added security when storing their items in a Robotic Storage Unit. In addition, each storage unit will have an physical padlock to ensure double the security and ease of mind.

Secondly, due to the nature of the no-man zone setup of StorefriendlyGO, the services has better compliance with fire safety standard as compared to a conventional self storage setup. This means that there is less risk of customers being exposed to danger during emergencies.

Lastly, we are guaranteed returns within a year, which meant that this new innovative service will see even better results in the long run.

StorefriendlyGO

Storefriendly is the first in adopting robotic technology in the self storage industry.

It enables better space optimisation and increased space efficiency by 1/3 from 60% to 80% of storage space. This is done by reducing corridor space to effectively maximise the number of storage units within a given area.

StorefriendlyGO has better compliance with fire safety standards than the conventional self storage setup. This is due to its no-man zone space setup, where no customers are allowed into the storage areas. There is less risk of customers being exposed to danger during emergencies.

Storefriendly Go Smart Self Storage service won the Hong Kong ICT Gold Awards in 2019 Smart Mobility (Smart Logistics) Gold Award. Steered by the office of the government Chief Information Officer, Hong Kong ICT Awards is organized by top industry associations and professional bodies, with an aim to recognize and promote outstanding information and communications technology inventions and applications among Hong Kong’s ICT industry.
