Chile welcomes foreign investment in critical materials, but when it comes to strategic partnerships, the No. 2 lithium producer wants countries with shared values, its top diplomat in the US said.
“We want Americans, Canadian, Western investments in Chile,” <-bsp-person state="{"_id":"00000187-29cd-d7a3-a9e7-fbffdfb90000","_type":"00000160-6f41-dae1-adf0-6ff519590003"}">Juan Gabriel Valdes-bsp-person>, ambassador to the US, said Tuesday at the SAFE Summit in Washington DC. “We have an excellent trade relationship with China, but we want strategic partnerships with countries we share the value together.”
