REQUIREMENTS

You just need your South Dakota Driver's License or ID Card, along with a payment method (credit or debit card).

A company will need their Identification Number (FEIN or SSN) along with the Password/Access number from the renewal notice.

The kiosk CAN:

• Renew an existing vehicle registration
• Print the updated registration card and license plate decals
• Update your address
• Renew your driver's license

The kiosk CAN'T:

• Accept cash

WHEN CAN I RENEW?

You can renew up to 90 days before your expiration date and up to 9 months after your expiration date (late fees may apply).

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  • The renewal fee, plus any applicable late fees
  • 2.25% processing fee when paying by credit or debit card
