Certified Angler Instructor (CAI) Course

This course delivers an understanding of the mission & vision of the BSA Fishing Program. You will learn age-based and skill appropriate fishing tools and techniques for your Scouts, ranging from a cane pole to a fly rod. The course highlights best practices on content delivery, in both the classroom and the field. Recommended for any Scout Leader looking to provide fishing programs including (but not limited to) Merit Badge Counselors for Fishing, Fly-Fishing, and Fish & Wildlife Management. Cost includes meals and tent camping. Provided meals include Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday breakfast & lunch. Friday night arrivals permitted.

Must be at least 14 years of age. No fishing experience or equipment required. Part A&B Health Form required upon arrival.
