Over the last 3 years Doyougivearuck has donated out over $230,000.00 to Veteran causes. During these last 3 years we have never raised money for educational purposes. This year we are changing that!
On September 9th, #DoYouGiveARuck? will partner with IRSC - Indian River State College to host the Freedom Festival and Memorial Ruck event to raise funding for a Veteran College Fund for Indian River State College Veteran Program. We will also be raising money for the #DYGAR? Emergency Relief Fund which provides rent money, minor car repairs, temporary housing, and vehicle assistance for Veteran's and their families.
We will also be raising non-perishable food's, hygiene supplies, new clothes, school supplies, and baby item's during this 1 mile ruck march to fight poverty in the Saint Lucie County community. All donations will be donated to Mustard Seed Ministries who will distribute the supplies to underprivileged families.
This FREE event will be hosted at the Indian River State College Pruitt Campus to honor the one's we lost during 9/11 and those who answered our nation's call during the Global War On Terror. With live music, vendors, food truck's, sponsor's, K9 Demonstration, and more!
