Cultivating faith communities

rooted in Christ-centered loving action,

thriving in mutual mission, and

soaring in alignment with the Spirit moving in the world.

Together, we can shape the future.

God’s light and love can go viral in our world when we engage our neighbors face to face, eye to eye, and heart to heart. God’s light and love can go viral in the world when we follow Jesus’ lead in our communities, and when Good News springs up from our voices like water from parched earth. God is inviting us into a shift. God is inviting us to go viral.

Our Vision

Furthering the reign of Love, one local community at a time.

Welcome, Leaders of the Church

The Rev. Chantal McKinney, D.Min.
Founder, Root Thrive Soar

Since the pandemic, organizations and societies around the world have pivoted greatly. It is time for the church to pivot, too: to recalibrate toward being even more deeply rooted in Christ-centered loving action, and deeply interconnected in our communities. It is time to shift toward a spirit of mission, through the cultivation of local faith communities that draw people to following Jesus through acts of loving-kindness in their communities.

“Root Thrive Soar has transformed the way I integrate faith in my daily life. And it has transformed the way I approach my spiritual life. It has reaffirmed my call to ministry as a chaplain to create and hold healing space everywhere and anywhere I go. To me, that’s what church means. And Root Thrive Soar has helped me define that for myself.”
